All Classes are taught by Head Instructor Julie McHale, 4 times World Champion and 3 times European Champion, 15 years National Irish Champion .
From a tender age of 10 years old Julie began her martial arts career, learning the art of Karate for a number of years, she went on to become a first degree black belt at the age of 16. She then focused and quickly excelled in the style of kickboxing.
Competing in semi-contact kickboxing for many years, Julie then went on to compete at international level in light and full contact kickboxing. After graduating from school, Julie pursued her love of sport as a career through her academic training, undertaking a serious of third level and advanced fitness training courses.
Julie, a 4th degree blackbelt has been training for over 30 years and has a glittering career in martial arts, carrying an accolade of achievements and success.
Julie has been bringing pride to her hometown of Bray since 1999 when she first competed at international level. Representing Ireland at world and european championships, Julie has an international honours role that is simply remarkable.
She has won over 200 tournaments and championships.
The achievements Julie has won are truly exceptional, she is an outstanding ambassador for sport, providing young athletes with an excellent role model. In 2006, Bray Chamber of Commerce recognised all Julie’s achievements, receiving the award for Person of the Year.
